Scholarship Rules and Application
The Agriculture Teachers Association offers the NMAETA Scholarship to members’ children upon their graduation from high school. Scholarships are awarded to all eligible applicants as long as NMAETA membership requirements are met and the applicant meets all scholarship requirements listed.
Eligibility:
The applicant must be a graduating senior and the son/stepson, daughter/stepdaughter in good standing with the NMAETA and meeting the following requirements.
Requirements:
Active Members: must have been a member for the past four consecutive years.
Required information to be completed Online at the link below:
Deadline: Application and supporting materials must be submitted online on or before May 15th. Late applications will NOT be accepted. Once the application is submitted you should receive a confirmation message letting you know it was received. Required Information to be submitted by email: Scholarship recipients must submit along with proof of college enrollment for the fall semester (i.e. tuition statement, schedule, etc.) via email by August 30th, to the NMAETA office to receive scholarship funds. Scholarship payment will be mailed to the individual. Scholarship may be used for other education needs if not needed for tuition.
Notification: Notification of the award will be emailed to the student by June 15th.
